Monitoring and Evaluation Lead
Augustine is the Monitoring and Evaluation and Project Development/Management Lead with a solid track record in designing and implementing High Level and Impactful Donor, government and private funded Programme/Projects and M&E initiatives. He has over 29 years’ experience working within the agricultural and development sectors and 19 years in the field of government and donor funded Project Monitoring & Evaluation initiatives. He specializes in turning complex field data into results for decision making that support development programmes, influence policy, and create meaningful change in the lives of project beneficiaries.
With a Masters in Governance & Sustainable Development and Bachelors Degree in Population Studies from the University of Cape Coast, he also holds Advanced Certificate in Project Monitoring & Evaluation from the Institute for Capacity Development, Windhoek-Namibia, Certificate in M&E from GIMPA as well as Certificates in Result Based M&E from IMA international-UK. Others include certificate in Project Analysis, EICA-Egypt, Certificate in Development Management and Leadership from IMA international-UK and certificate in Value Chain/links Development and Analysis from GIZ in Frankfurt-Germany. As M&E Specialist, Augustine has led high-impact projects by MoFA funded by World Bank and other agencies.
Augustine has international experience and has the ability to proactively undertake M&E, Gender and development initiatives in several International related programmes/workshops, facilitations, trainings, result based wrap-ups missions and assignments in different Countries including; Egypt, United Kingdom (UK), Namibia, Nigeria, The Gambia, Cote D’Ivoire, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Togo, Sierra Leone, Mali, Niger, Liberia, Guinea, and Germany. He is skilful in the use of data analysis tools and systems such as SPSS, STATA, EXCEL, the use of GPS for mapping and management of web-based M&E systems, etc.
His approach to M&E is also rooted in high commitment to Result based gender and social equity M&E in project design, implementation and management by following through the Management of Projects for Result with emphasis on Projects’ Theory (TOC) of Change, Result Framework (RF) and reporting for informed decision making to drive progress and results.
